Dr. Theo Wolmarans is the Senior Pastor and Founder of Christian Family Church International, Johannesburg, which he founded, together with his wife Beverley, in 1979. This is one of the largest churches of its kind in Southern Africa. An anointed teacher, Dr Theo presents the word of God with absolute clarity and simplicity, bringing understanding to every heart and mind, at the same time captivating the audience with his bold, dynamic style.

As a leading international Minister and a member of the Board of Dr. David Yonggi Cho’s Church Growth International, Dr Theo is a much sought-after speaker for churches throughout the world. He is a man of great vision and, fulfilling his apostolic calling, is responsible for the formation of many churches throughout Africa and various parts of the world. Dr Theo and Beverley, along with the more than 250 Chrisitan Family Church associates, also has a memorandum of Association with the Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa, which was founded by John G. Lake, and it has over 1400 South African Associates.

Some time ago the Lord led Dr Theo and Pastor Beverley to start another church in America and, after many years of prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit, the San Antonio branch of Christian Family Church was birthed. In just over a year there are approximately 1000 people associated with the Church. Clearly Jesus is building His Church. The growth has been phenomenal and the congregation has already experienced many signs and wonders through this couple’s ministry. Dr Theo and Beverley regularly travel between San Antonio and Johannesburg, keeping in touch with their congregants, as well as bringing them the Word of God through uplifting and encouraging teachings.

Dr. Theo believes deeply in spending much time in prayer and God’s Word – as the most important thing in his life is to know the will of God in all his decisions.
